Understanding AADAD and its Role in Alzheimer’s Dementia

The goal of this module is to define agitation, its diagnostic criteria, and its role in Alzheimer’s dementia, including its precipitating factors, symptoms, potential pathophysiological mechanisms, and the unmet burdens associated with the condition

Module 2

Screening and Evaluation of AADAD and the Impact on Patients and Caregivers

The goal of this module is to guide participants on how to utilize available screening tools to evaluate/diagnose AADAD and educate care partners on the at-home use of these tools

Module 3

Current and Emerging Therapies for AADAD

The goal of this module is to evaluate the mechanisms of action and clinical safety and efficacy data associated with current and emerging therapies for AADAD and their potential for enhanced therapeutic benefit

Module 4

Patient-Centered Management of AADAD and Shared Decision Making

The goal of this module is to empower participants to implement strategies to support referral and multi-disciplinary collaboration between clinicians and care partners to ensure optimal patient-centered management of AADAD that appropriately monitors treatment response and incorporates patients and care partners in treatment decisions
